I was surprised to see Brembo on the list, and at the same time pleasantly surprised because their brakes are good ones.

Very strong and quiet compounder :) in a cyclical business. My only pickle is they are a one branded product. I would like if they can license the IP out like MIPS with helmet safety system.

Great ideas! Happy shareholders of WSP and BRO here. I know I can sleep well at night with these two. Holding WSP for more than three years now and BRO for a couple of months. Thanks for sharing your list!

Thanks, Max! Both very good businesses! BRO might be closer to an entry point than WSP.

What make them deserve to be a long-term holding? And your biggest fear? Anything in the list you would like me to consider for the next deep dive?

For WSP, they need a small pullback for a good entry point. I like the environment, water and green transition part of the business. They are the market leader in this sector here in Canada. My biggest concern is the government spending on project to reduce the debt. WSP thrive on those kinds of contracts for the growth. The big acquisition they just made need to turn great for the growth to continue at this pace.

For BRO, I think it is a good price right now, maybe a little lower. Insurance industry is a great one with lots of tailwinds for the years to come. I really like the diversification inside of the business, both by product and geographically. One thing that I will closely watch is the expansion in Europe. If they do it correctly, this is big for Brown & Brown. Thanks!

Excellent! Might need to bump WSP higher to my research list, big acquisitions usually require special attention as they could really disrupt the focus and value creation of a business. BRO will be a nice diversification for my Sleep Well Portfolio. Thank you, Max! Would love your feedback if I end up publishing these two in the future!

You are welcome, Harold! Which one do you like so far?

I will publish my research in some of them in the future. It takes a little more time to get comfortable with their competition and valuation.

Based on quickfs 10 year stats:

Brembo Spa most attractive valuation.

Chemometec favourite biz.

I'd add Willscott $WSC and Brown and Brown $BRO on the attractive valuation camp (as @Max Drolet also suggested).

Agree Chemometec is very interesting! Similar to Medistim a razor and blade business model.

Great post, so much to unpack here, though I don't know a lot of the companies here. I am glad Keysight and Monolithic Power where I invest has made it to your lists, so I can sleep well.

Thanks Amrita, I did most of my research on KEYS and tempted! Monolithic Power looks very good! What's your thesis on both? What do you think are the biggest risks?
