The biggest mistake you can make is being afraid to make one. Appreciate your sharing your hard-learned lessons. Even though I must disagree that this is a sleep-s* investment cause it's only one if you lack conviction and didn't do proper due diligence. But I understand that it's not a stock for everyone. It's very common for micro cap stocks to swing 20-50% in matter of days but that's also where opportunities lie
Cheers OnlyHold, I thought of dipping my toes in the small-cap world with Intellego, and learned a lot! I continue to have faith in the company, hence I am not selling. But I think the quality of management and result volatility isn't for my sleep-well readers....Next time, when coming accross similar opportunity, I'll be more patient with my buy in, and wait for more concrete evidence before giving conclusions.
I'm wondering why you use "time-weighted average gain per pick" metrics instead of the porfolio performance, which most people use. That only accounts for what's currently in your portfolio, and not counting the losers that you have sold out of your portfolio, which would make the time-weighted average gain per pick higher than the actual performance portfolio....
Thanks. Always great to read this. Some valuable lessons in there! Intellego still looks interesting
Yes it's still interesting…and today we got one more short report about it's China partnership lol…never a dull day.
