I suffered the same when I was a kid. It's not nice. Her body is unable to be active, but her brain is still active. Keep exercising it. Keep her occupied and entertained, she'll get through it and emerge stronger. Read with her. Times-tables. Quizzes. Anything challenging to occupy her mind and to take her mind off her plight. I recommend a great book called "The Number Devil" by Hans Magnus Enzensberger (don't worry, it's in English). It's really fun and the kids learn from it. After 4-6 weeks she'll at least be academically stronger! At that age, her physical strength will return quickly. I wish her and the rest of your family well.
Great advice! Very wise words from you as always! Indeed it's as tough for her as for us.
Our aim is to go through all the children book that the hospital library has here. Very abundant available as most children here are on their iPads already.
I agree quizzes and activity books are great! Apart from that the daily chores already great bonding time for us (surprisingly satisfying when you get a kiss from your child without asking)
Best wishes, dear Trung, for you and the whole family, and especially for the little one. A lot of strength. Congratulations on your substack. Personally, we agree on Fortinet and Kingsale where I have been an investor for many years... and for a few months also in Dino, which I find to be the most interesting thing in the "quality small cap" universe :):) Warm regards
All the best for your daughter and your family! Hope she can manage - the 4-6 weeks wait will be more brutal than anything (it's "forever" when you're that young)
The day is so long but the time is so short to do anything with her...cleaning, cooking, feeding and traveling up and down the hospital already took most of our time sadly. But we are optimistic. Thank you Monty!
I hope your daughter keeps getting better. This will be a time she can tell stories to her friends about in the future. Taking care should always come first. That’s the whole point of why you started this, correct? Don’t worry about us too much. We’ll be here when you’re ready.
Thank you Rhandi I really appreciate it! My daughter will benefit from this early challenge for sure. She doesn't know it yet.
And indeed this is a good test of the sleep well strategy as well. If you successfully pick out resilient winners, it doesn't matter what happens in the short term. I'll be back soon!

We need to muster all the strength we have and going through this together could be best early character building for my daughter.
You picked three good ones! Id add Wisetech- have a look at my deep dive. There is no one like it. Expensive but one I'd add one any dip. Best regards

Cheers, fingers crossed!
Health is and will be always our most precious asset. Quick recovery :))
Agreed! She will and I will be grateful what we have outside this four wall in 4-6 weeks time!
All the best to your big girl! I also have one the same age. Stay strong and she will be allright in the end
Thank you! They are already so strong at that age, scream the first second then smile the next.
Wishing well for both. Everything will be fine :))
